The Lung Transplant Support Fund is a program of the Lung Association of Nova Scotia that is designed to offer modest support ($500) to individuals who have to travel out-of-province to receive a lung transplant.

How to Apply?
1. The applicant must complete an application form.

2. The referring physician section must be completed and signed by the referring physician/specialized physician.
3. The completed form should then be sent to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia
What Financial Assistance is Available under the Program?
The Lung Association of Nova Scotia provides a modest financial contribution to patients awaiting a lung transplant. Financial support is also available to help with gym membership fees for lung transplant patients who are post-transplant.
All applications are reviewed on an individual basis. Once your application has been received, it will take 2-4 weeks for review of your application. If your application has been approved you should receive your bursary within 4-6 weeks upon receiving your application.
