BREATHE NOVA SCOTIA CONFERENCE
March 3-5, 2017
Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel
Thank you for attending the ARCC conference throughout the past 26 years.
Your attendance has been vital in creating vibrant meetings and growing the conference. The Lung Association of Nova Scotia is dedicated to improving quality of life by preventing and managing lung disease through research, advocacy, patient services and education. In accordance with our mission, we are evolving from the ARCC to a broader lung health meeting, Breathe Nova Scotia. This shift also stems from our commitment to move towards a preventative model — a direction that is consistent with the aging demographic and increasing healthcare costs in Nova Scotia. Therefore, the ARCC conference will be discontinued.
The main theme of the first Breathe Nova Scotia meeting is Tobacco Control. Nova Scotia has one of the highest smoking rates in the country and we invite you to join us to help ignite a change where Nova Scotia becomes the leading province in terms of stringent tobacco control measures and low tobacco use rates. In time, we will expand the conference to include oncology, pediatric lung health, critical care and certainly respirology.
We look forward to having you at the conference and more information will be made available shortly!
Thank you for your support and commitment.
