2017 Scotiabank Charity Challenge

The Lung Association of Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that they will take part in the 2017 Scotiabank Bluenose Marathon Charity Challenge as one of their new fundraising initiatives.

The Scotiabank Charity Challenge is an opportunity for thousands of runners and walkers to make their Blue Nose Marathon event more meaningful by raising funds for a local charity. The Charity Challenge is open to any registered Canadian-based charity to build a fundraising team. The program began in 2003 and in 2016, $50 million dollars in funds were raised across Canada for participating charities.

The LANS team at the event will be called The Lung Runners! Lung health patients, donors, families and volunteers are welcome to join us as we take to the streets of Halifax and raise funds to improve lung health in Nova Scotia.

The Scotiabank Bluenose Marathon will take place from May 19-21, 2017.
